Azzam is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Neurological Sciences Department, College of Medicine, UNMC University (USA). His research work lies in artificial intelligence (AI), specifically in machine learning and computer vision. Before joining UNMC University, he worked as an assistant professor (∼ 2 years) at Menoufia University (Egypt), with teaching experience in AI-related courses, such as computer vision, data science, and AI, and supervising AI-related graduation projects. He received a PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from the City University of Hong Kong and a Master’s degree in CSE from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China) in 2018. In 2014, he received his BSc in CSE from Menoufia University.
