Dr. Wang’s laboratory focuses on the intersection of machine learning and medical imaging. The lab develops and applies methods in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science to process and analyze medical images to understand the mechanisms of diseases and build diagnostic/predictive models.

  • Aug 01, 2025: Dr. Wang is awarded an NSF Smart and Connected Health (SCH) grant by NSF to develop a novel multi-modal deep learning and statistical framework to maximize health outcomes for breast cancer. It will be a four-year grant with a start date of Aug-01-2025. Congratulations!
